dark knight is awesome.oh, and so is heath ledger.
his death was so sudden; so abrupt.
he really gave his all for dark knight. the joker who seemed to be the happiest character from beginning to the end. he had nothing to fear, nothing to lose, nothing to be threatened of. he was who he was right to the very end. not many people are like him, living so honestly of who they are and to the people around them. everyone just like to mask themselves up, portray themselves as better people. are they really better people? i really do wonder. of course, the joker wasn't that oh-so-honest either due to his painted face; a mask? perhaps. we'll never know the answer anyway and it doesn't really matter after all.
and i respect heath ledger, from the bottom of my heart.
hes a talent lost but he made a legacy - a joker who wasn't just simply a jester, in dark knight or in reality.
perhaps its time to look inwards, to find that joker in all of us. of course, not the menacing or evil side of us but the honest and true self we have since abandoned due to societal expectations or just the wanting to fit in. hmm. perhaps, we were all wrong.

okay fyp postponed to the afternoon instead of 9am.and intelligent woke up at 7+am to bathe and all sorts of prep. luckily i checked my nus mail. if not i'd haf looked like an idiot strolling into the lab. hahah.
its already july. in fact the last 10days of july. so fast. aug will be coming soon and then i gotta start sch again. and join in the rat race so super unwillingly. but i forsee myself cramming oh-so-intelligent-20399718728648GB-worth-of-knowledge into my pueny brain to the wee hrs of the night..AHhhhhhhhhhhhhh! tts pure insanity! boo!
i wish im in japan now or sth. when everything is foreign but yet you feel that sense of familiarity in some warped sense. hehe.

suddenly i miss playing in the band. i miss playing the clarinet. i miss those torturous sectionals whereby running notes went arnd freely frm speed 80 all e way to 160 and so on. hahaha.. i miss e late night band pracs i miss e days when we just sat in the canteen yakking away and poor wanxin had to get our attention. hahaha.. as the saying goes.. we only miss what we don't have. so when we have it, we wun miss it. okay den i'd rather i not haf alot of things and noe tt i miss them den to haf all of the things with me and yet not realising i dun miss them.

karen left for sv le.. sighs. im gonna miss her for 3whole weeks! :( but then again, the world has shrunk so much all thanks to the intelligent scientists and engineers who made it work! hoho! sisterrrrr!! *waves* if you are still reading this, i'm really sad tt you're not a (free/cheap) sms/call away but i'll call/sms you anytime de k! :) just gimmi ur numberrrrrrr! anyway i sent u an email! pls go readd! :) hehe!i had a really weird dream last night..and weirdly when i woke up i still remember the details. hmm they say when you can remember ur dreams, nothing gd will come out of it. haha..oh wells. its just qt scary to b able to rem the details of any form of dreams. lol its like bad luck will follow suit? is that right? sch's starting soon and im going germany soon. hvn packed, hvn change money cuz no money and hvn do alot of things. im so lethargic. its gonna b a FYP week. ah well.. JIAYOU LYDIA LIM! you can do it!

i was clearing my mailbox earlier and started reading emails (old and new). haha i found it pretty hilarious. e silliest things we say in emails and of cuz the encouragement(s) i get! :)i really have sweet friends and one especially so :)

my cousin's bf proposed! and so my cousin is getting married soon too le! e heat is up! waahhahaha! luckily i still haf 2 cousins b4 me to buffer it..hoho!!! :P congrats yimei jiejie :))))

fyp has started and im really feeling the heatttttt..its tiring! i had lab frm 9am to 6pm yesterday..and loads of readg up before that! ahhh! shit man. looks like fyp's gonna b xiong for me..but my phd labbies are all nice ppl :) in fact they are a crazy bunch. lol! my sup is funny too..hes SUPER helpful. which prof goes to the lab 6times a day?!?! and its not even to spot check is to come down and tok to us and render assistance..lol. i can see hes really bored in his office. hehe :P either tt OR he likes interacting w us since theres only one phd guy labbie while e rest are girls in the lab :))))))) hohoho!
i met lup, dy and zhao for lunch ytd! hahahaha was lookg fwd to lunch big time..nv looked fwd to lunches so much in e past lo. hahahaha i was SUPER hungry and i was practically gorging down on my food. lol :p tho it was a short catching up session but sitting there listening to them talk was good :) i really miss all 3 of them!!
i'm lookg fwd to the new sem to begin! i miss my friends! i wanna hang out w karennnnnn and yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy! hahaha i miss tokg crap, doing silly things, rushing hw and assignments and impromptu ktv or going out sessions with them! and definitely, living in our own little world :)) haha!
and yes!!! ~16days to the return of mr tan! yeah! one more fren back by my side! i'm happppppy!! 1yr din seem like 1yr :) ahahaha! but i guess i wun get to see my dear old friend till sch reopens since i wun b in sg till abt then. hahahahaaha! okay im sure hes so gonna miss me! tts his KARMA! suddenly you either can think really well or you just think very badly..

i finished my ia w 3M le =) haha yeah! so basically i'm a semi-free girl le! i'm meeting prof ykl tmr for fyp le..well..seems like alot of ppl oredi met up w their profs except me..hoho! :P okok! tmr shall b the day! 26weeks of internship at 3M has ended.and tt means half of 2008 has passed by le..scary huh! so fast half a yr gone by...WAHhhhhhhhhh! hahaa..its time to buck up den! :)went for xy's convo today! really miss tt crazy girl! lol~ :P mae and seah gave me a ride home! hehe! i haf such sweet frens :)
