Firstly, i'll start off my posts by warning you guys this will b my longest post ever in the yr of 2007! hahaha.. yupp. the order will be abit off but at least i wun bore u with words but the pictures that i've picasa-ed so that you all wun see until cok eye!!
The christmas celebrations at my hse!! =) First with my mother side then my father side and then with aunty and uncle leong and family and regina!! :D look at the delicious food! YUMMY!
and then i had a JC class gathering (we were supposed to wear RED or GREEN as instructed by the organiser - yinghao) at my hse... hvn seen many of them in AGES! hahaha.. presenting to you.. 03S09:

Next, I'd like to show all the pictures that i take with my lab group - W5.. they are really a good bunch of friends i've made in Chem Eng esp during our bloody mundane LAB sessions was made fun thanks to them! :D enjoyed ALL e time spent together and glad that we all did well for lab! yays! =) hehe! all e weekly meetups to discuss lab reports and viva on alternate weeks really paid off :D muacks! and i don't see them as just lab partners but as good frens that i've made in chem eng! they are definitely impt ppl who made a difference in my life! since i'll b posting so much of them now at the end of the post i wun put up their pics in the "impt ppl" thingy but they are impt!

okay.. i finally put up pictures of my 21st bday celebration! hahahaha! many thanks to my cousins for their help and also my church friends for helping out from major to minor things =) thankyou all! It will always be a memorable night for me :D
Bdays always remind me how much everyone loves me! and for that i was really reminded how LOVED i am =) i decided not to post any bday presents as i packed it all that night and forgot to tk pictures except for the one that felix gave me all e way frm holland as it came in on my bday itself while the rest came in during the party. Presents are just a token of love and its really the thought that counts =) ALL presents are equally impt k! and i really thankyou all for everything! to my family and cousins, thanks for everything! frm the catering to the cake and to the video and also the book and presents u all made for me =) and also not forgetting the SABO GAME!! alamak. hahaha but i enjoyd it =)
to my aunties and uncles, thanks for coming and for showering me with so much love and all!
to my church friends, thanks for coming and for the gifts!! =) esp the sweet notes inside the book! and funny ones not to forget ;)
to my SCGS friends, i love you all girls! hahaha well, ladies i guess. many of them look so mature now basking in LOVE~ hahaha =) 10yrs of SCGS certainly brings back lots of fond memories. thanks dearies=)

I really enjoyed my birthday this yr and with that i turned 21 on 10th Oct with the love of my family, relatives and friends who care =)

Europe Trip (9th -19th Dec '07):
Upon touching down at Zurich International Airport, we proceeded to Rheinfall which is a quaint town that was pretty quiet since it was a sunday morning around 9am?
After which we proceeded to Germany, Titisee to see the Black Forest (which unfortunately we didn't take any photos..) haha so we saw a rainbow on our way there and its not those we see in sgp..its the WHOLE arch! i could even find the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow cuz we saw the "End" of it! =) e cuckoo clocks were cute!! hahaha and we had a german pork knuckle meal with authentic BLACK FOREST CAKE with rum! yum!
After that we checked in at Lucerne and it was a not bad hotel =) we had dinner and the ice cream was cute! (look at picture2) and we met zhiyuan's family in the hotel the next morning during breakfast! hahahaaha! We went to the city the next morning and also the Lion Monument, old bridge in Lucerne...
and we ate movenpick for lunch! :D hehe! look at it! isn't it gd? and i used my super broken german to communicate abit with the waitress there. it was qt fun. hahaha! =)
After which we went to Bern the Capital of Switzerland! Its a city that's under UNESCO =) its qt cool leh! they have bears in the city for everyone to see. as in REAL bears not teddy bears. haha.. since it was nearing christmas, everywhr had christmas markets!! =) i even took a photo of the cool and unique candles sold at the market =) Bern is pretty much a bustling city!
Next we stayed in Interlaken for 2 nights... We had cheese fondue! mmmmm!! Schmeck! :D i love it! Cheese is my fav even tho im qt lactose intolerant. ahhaha.. and we had chocolate fondue (which i din really fancy) ahaha.. the other night we had a delicious italian meal with lotsa pasta and pizzas!! =) On the last night in Interlaken, it started snowing as we walked along the streets! IT was A SIGHT to behold!!! Just one word to describe - AWED. =D
We went to JungFrau - The Top of Europe =) Its just one of the mountains in the Swiss Alps! It was snowing and we really really enjoyed it!! cuz its the first time im experiencing snowwwwww!!! wooo! tok abt a white christmas man! =) Anyway, JungFrau is in German and when translated, it just means young lady. =)
The picture below shows the temperature of the place we took photo at... -16.9 celsius. its FREAKING cold! hahaha and since we were so high up, oxygen was minimal and since im fat i felt so giddy! ARGH!! so embarrassing! haiz! But it was snowing too heavily that we couldnt even see anything when we stood outside! wad a pity..i'm sure it looks great in summer/spring!
En route to Lugano (the italian region of Schweiz) we went through SUPER THICK SNOWY places and they just look like postcard photos don't they? =)
Some funny postcards we saw at the rest station.. and the toilets in Schweiz is REALLY clean! and you can even press a button and the seat cover will start shifting as a nozzle spurts water out to clean it! cool isnt it?
Upon reaching Lugano... its a FANTASTIC town with a beautiful lake among the scenery! =) my sisters and i were doing spastic photoshoots! hahahaha..we were like 3 idiots running around the streets.. hoho!
Next, we proceeded to Milan and entered the boundaries of Italia~! The city of fashion! haha! its really cool! and we went into the World's 3rd Biggest Cathedral - Duomo Cathedral.. it was built by HUMAN HANDS k! and Mother Mary who's built right at the top of the Cathedral is said to look over the whole of Milan and taking care of them and thus no building in Milan can be built higher than the statue of Mother Mary of the Duomo Cathedral.. food for thot huh.
Next stop, Venezia! (aka Venice the sinking city).. haha its a really cool place! all e alleys are actually only for humans and the only other transportation other than our legs is the gondolas or water transportation! really cool and fascinating =)
Took a ride on the gondola and it was a good experience riding through the different "alleys" of venice =)
Pisa! it doesn't seem to lean that much le cuz the engineers have since tried to stop it from sinking further.. *engineers are clever fellows aren't they? hehe* and the typical i'm-gonna-stop-the-leaning-tower-of-pisa-from-leaning shots! =)
Next up, we went to Verona! The city of LOVE as it was believed that Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet was adapted from the balcony as shown in the photo below =)
Finally, we reach Firenza (Florence) where all the different sculptures are erected with very beautiful cathedrals and all =) IT WAS SUPER COLD on that day that we couldn't even withstand la. hahaha...
Siena, another city under UNESCO =) The city is an old city that was badly affected by the 60s Black Plague which killed many and literally caused the downfall of the city... its a tranquil place with small slopey alleys =)
And ta-dah! We reached ROMA (aka Rome)!! hahaha.. we ate the famous tartofu ice cream, went to the colosseum, drove past the ruins of Ancient Rome whereby we even saw the place where the Senate gathers and where Julius Caesar was known to said the famous line, "Et tu Brute!" (horrible lit days back in SC *shudders*) but it was a very nice view! Then we went to the water fountain which is believed that if you throw a coin of any amount into the fountain in a specific way your wish will come true and that you'll always come back to Rome again!
ps: the RED light is bigger than amber and green as the italian drivers are known as..reckless drivers. HAH to think my sistersAnd then we went to Vatican City... it was a really heritage tour.. saw the World's no.1 Cathedral - St. Peter's Cathedral-Basilica di San Pietro in Vatican City its really MAJESTIC! italy has ALOT of cathedrals and each is unique of its own but St Peter's really really really MAJESTIC!
And finally at Leonardo Da Vinci International Airport in Rome...
Woo.. really enjoyed my trip! :D it was a very enriching and enjoyable trip as we made friends =) It'll be a long time (or never a chance) before I'll be able to set foot in Schweiz, Deutschland und Italia again.. SAD. But I so am gonna work my ass off so i can go to Austria once and to Eastern Europe.. POLAND's Krakow will be the first stop man! chopin=) wheeeeee*

Since 2007 is ending soon.. Just wanna extend my appreciation to the people of great importance below who made a difference in my 21yrs of life... there are some friends that are impt but i cant seem to find a pic taken with them..you know who you are if you don't see your face here k! VERY SORRY!!! arghs!
thankyou all for being there all the time and for making me so happy. i love you all LOADS! 2007 has been the most fruitful years of my 21yrs of life. i experienced all sorts of things ranging from sad to happy =) I learnt what true frenship is all about and who are the ppl who really matter to me. ppl who would do anything for me and ppl who would do nothing for me. whatever it is, God has His plan to make our paths cross and i'm very sure He always know what's best for me. Thankyou God for giving me everything when i'm nothing. For picking me up when i'm down. For turning my :( into a :) For loving me despite me being so unworthy. For being there for me at all time. For giving me the best when i do not deserve it. For simply nothing to everything. Thankyou God! Hallelujah!
With that, i welcome 2008 with great enthusiasm and a wide smile on my face=)
